This blog was created on August 24 2010 by Quan Tran in the class funds of photo. It shows that we study the artists and their works. We also study about the cameras and we actually get to use them. What is a better way to study your cameras then actually use them.

What is experimental Art?
One typically hears unusual art called three different things, often interchangeably:
- Innovative
- Avant-Garde
- Experimental
But what do these three words mean? Do they mean the same thing? I don’t think so, and in this post I’ll point out some basic differences between them. I’ll also define what I think experimental art essentially is, and how such art operates.

Difference between scientific method vs. Creative Process
Scientific method refers to a body of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge.[1] To be termed scientific, a method of inquiry must be based on gathering observable, empirical and measurableevidence subject to specific principles of reasoning.[2] The Oxford English Dictionary says that scientific method is: "a method of procedure that has characterized natural science since the 17th century, consisting in systematic observation, measurement, and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses."
Creative Process
Creativity is a mental process involving the discovery of new ideas or concepts, or new associations of the existing ideas or concepts, fueled by the process of either conscious or unconscious insight.

Weegee
Weegee was the pseudonym of Arthur Fellig (June 12, 1899 – December 26, 1968), aphotographer and photojournalist, known for his stark black and white street photography.
Weegee worked in the Lower East Side of New York City as a press photographer during the 1930s and '40s, and he developed his signature style by following the city's emergency services and documenting their activity.[1] Much of his work depicted unflinchingly realistic scenes of urban life, crime, injury and death. Weegee published photographic books and also worked in cinema, initially making his own short films and later collaborating with film directors such as Jack Donohue and Stanley Kubrick.
